General InformationThe Kanabec History Center is located in East Central Minnesota on Mora’s west side just two miles from state highways 65 and 23. Although close to the city’s main business district, the Center is situated on 37 acres bordered by the Snake River. In addition to the historic exhibits, this beautiful woodland site provides ample opportunity to enjoy Minnesota’s parade of seasons from the lush wild flower display of springtime to the quiet beauty of the snow covered trails. Hours: Open Year Round Admission... Prescheduled tours are welcome!! Arrangements can be made for luncheon catered on site. Several restaurants and shopping opportunities near by. Group rates available.
