This guide to research information available at
the Kanabec History Center has been created to
better acquaint the public with the many resources
available to them.
Staff members and volunteers are ready to
assist you as you research your family heritage or
some aspect of the history of the county.
The History Center has on file by name the birth, death and marriage references abstracted out of the Kanabec County Newspapers going back to 1884. As well as many other resources to do family research. To research a person by e-mail send us the name of the person you are researching any dates you have concerning the person along with your name, e-mail and address. See fee structure below for assisted research. Remember we have information only persons who resided in Kanabec County.
If you have records or papers which are of historical significance to Kanabec County or its residents, please consider donating those materials to the Kanabec History Center. Contact the Kanabec History Center, for more information concerning specific collection criteria.
